The Rose Garden Cafe building in Graves Park was given to the people of Sheffield along with the park in 1927 by JG Graves and is a much loved and well used community asset which the council suddenly closed on Weds 28th July following an inspectors report which highlighted a litany of defects indicating many years of neglect and failure to maintain by the council.

We are demanding that this cafe be repaired and reopened as soon as possible and the 12 staff reinstated to their jobs serving the public of Sheffield.

Our petition is gaining ground, but we need more Sheffield signatures to trigger a full council debate.
